try rebooting your system - turn the computer off, wait 30 seconsds, then turn it back on.  see if that clears up the problem.  good luck.

In what way is it not responding ? Is it failing to respond to certain web sites? Is it freezing up and not responding at all ?  etc

Doesn't seem to be happening with any particular website - totally random.  All of s sudden I can't do anything and I see up at the top it says Not Responding.  Sometimes after a few seconds all is good.  Sometime I have to close everything out.  It is very frustrating since I can't seem to correct it once and for all.  Ot even know what is causing it.

Thanks for any help!

Try this: In upper left of this screen click TOOLS,then scroll down and click OPTIONS, Then down the page about 3/4 click on  CLEAR YOUR RECENT HISTORY. Then check all the boxes especially histoy, cookies, and cache. Then click CLEAR NOW at the botom of the box. After that has cleared, and this could take from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on how much it has to clear, then reboot your computeer.  Hope this helps. Also, if you don't have a good Malware software on your computer, you can download a free version of Malwarebytes here http://www.malwarebytes....65s6-rq7wCFQPZQgodACQAmg

Thanks, Walton!  I did as you suggested.  I do use the malware bytes so I ran a complete scan too.  So far today I am good.  I know I can always count on my ST family to help.  Thanks so much!

I've been having the same problem with Firefox on both of my computers. They freeze or crash. I have Vista on one computer and Windows 7 on the other. My software is up-to-date and I clear cookies, etc. daily. I routinely run malwarebytes. I checked the Firefox health report and had over 25 crashes in January. I am not a "tech" person, but am wondering if I should uninstall and reload Firefox. If I do that, would I lose bookmarks, settings, etc. that I have saved in Firefox? Does anyone have any suggestions on dealing with this frustrating problem? Thanks.
