This summer I won a trip for myself and 3 members of my family for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise.  We were so excited until we started dealing with the travel agency.  Its been a nightmare.  We were told we were going to the Baltic States, then we were told it was Norway and then we were told it was Denmark and Sweden and all of the stops would be in Sweden.  I finally asked for the itinerary and we are going to Denmark and then Norway.  They thought it was a good idea to book a night in Copenhagen prior to the cruise which sounded good.  They booked us a triple room and a double for $880.  My name is not Warren Buffett.  I can't afford that and when you question them they get mad.  What do we do?

You should see if you can trade the win in for something else. If you can't do that you have to just except that the win wasn't much of a win at all and might even be just a scam of some sort. That is all the advice I can give sorry that I don't have something better for you.

First, read the rules.  Did they specify that you had to stay overnight at your own expense?

You always have the option to:  Contact sponsor if all else fails.

"Uff da" -- that is Scandanavian for rip-off! I agree with the others, contact original sponser. Good luck!
