Do you sweep everyday? I dont understand how you can go a whole year without any wins... none at all?

I average at least two wins a month. I dont think I could keep going without a win for a year.

I hope a win comes for you soon.

Wow!  No even a small win?

yes, it is possible. this is thanks to social media especially facebook and twitter. Although people may not become sweepers by entering, they get a large pool of entries by social media sharing. there's a lady on facebook who posts sweepstakes and posts reminders of her "readers" to re=enter. this destoys the odds for all of us to win. she is doing no one a favor. sorry

Play everyday.  No win for 2.5 years maybe going on 3 years.  Before that had some very good wins.  I think too many people out of work and are our playing competition

Sometimes 'venting" can be helpful and MAY result in a win for you... Anyway, we understand your frustration and are pulling for a win (any win) for you soon.. Just keep on plugging away and good things will happen.. Evie

Actually I just looked up my last win which was about four years ago.  I play every day except a few days I missed.

Don't get me wrong.  I've been fortunate to win around $10K in prizes since 2010, (from various sites), when I started sweeping, so I'm not complaining.  I've also won lots of little prizes, the kind that keep all of us going.

I read somewhere that it takes a lot of smaller wins before "the big one", so I guess, like most of us, I'm still waiting for "the big one".  I'll be honest.  When I see new players winning the bigger prizes, not once, but over and over again, I do wonder if the "newer email addresses" have an advantage over those of us who have been sweeping for years.

So, on January 1st, I elected to change my email address, so see if that would help.  [Hasn't worked so far!]  I even went so far as to stop using Roboform, entering now by hand, [with a little help from those nice pop-downs that are part of most computer programs].  Any difference?  Nah!

Then I read an article that said, on average, for most sweeps, there's a minimum of at least 25-30,000 entries per contest, with most being far more, like the 50+ million for The Dream Home.  This led me to my final conclusion about this wonderful hobby...

It's luck, pure and simple, when you win something.  Oh, there are lots of ways to better your chances.  We all know those but, bottom line, I really believe it's the luck of the draw that wins sweeps.  I also believe that old adage, "You can't win if you don't enter," which keeps me going during the long, and frustrating dry spells.

When I find myself getting discouraged, I try to remember this is simply a hobby and, if I'm fortunate enough to win a few things along the way, that's just great!

So, to those who haven't won in awhile, hang in there!  Know that you have the support of lots of folks and keep the faith!

And, that's my two cents worth......Happy Sweeping and GLTA!!  dw

I won 47 prizes in 2014 and have won 65 prizes this year. It really matters how many games you enter. I keep track of my wins on a spreadsheet and have found my wins improve greatly in the summer months, around Christmas, and whenever there are more contests available. I count every win (except "free wallpaper, mp3, etc downloads) and am not terribly picky about the prizes.

The more you enter the better your chance of winning. Unless stated in the rules (like McDonald's Monopoly online codes) the time of day does not affect when the prizes are available and people play at all times of day. I have won at midnight and at 5pm. I won't avoid a sweepstakes based on the odds alone but rather on how long it takes to enter. So if a sweeps takes 2.5 minutes to enter because it forces me to watch a video I will probably not enter it often.

Wins are never a sure thing and are purely based on random chance, but if you play as many sweeps as you can and as often as you can you will get a win eventually. I wish you the best of luck and hope you break your dry spell. GLTA!

Sorry to hear about your no wins . Just so you know i started in july of this year and my smallest win was a candy bar, and my biggest was a go pro 1 camera.I have been in a dry spell also.Me and my girlfriend both have accounts and both enter any and all the sweeps we qualify to enter, plus we have entered over $65 thousand in Oregon second chance lottery tickets!Although i know sweepstakes have way better odds.We are always looking for a financial break as we work fulltime also.I see way more people saying they are getting closer/have had smaller wins, so they know a big win is coming soon, and that is what makes me Positive/enter everyday no matter what!Look at how many members are a part of this website, and then know anyone in the world can enter all these Sweeps so at peak i could see more than 500,000 people at the low alone.I am a numbers guy, and know anyone can win since most drawings are random.Maybe start entering different days,or wait a week when a brand new one-time sweeps comes out?I am gonna start changing my entries for one-times, and everyone is always saying to enter instant wins late night/weekend.With 2 accounts i think we have only won 6 times since July 15! so totally a numbers game.Good Luck to all, and thanks for all your help!

There are many ways for people to get multiple entries that the average person can't.  Then you have bots and people using pay for sites or multiple email/twitter/FB accounts going for the big wins.  I love this hobby but I need to be more discerning what kind of sweeps I spend my time entering.  Good luck to everyone! Hope we can all figure out a way to enjoy this hobby that works and feels like we aren't wasting out time.

I'm trying not to complain, but no wins here for 6 months.  I started last August and won a Bose Speaker so I really got excited.  Biggest win since then was a $25 GC (which is great) from Marlboro.  Nothing this year (2017) except for a coupon for pretzels. haha

I hope all of our luck changes.   I feel like I'm wasting my time sometimes, but I know that there are wins out that somewhere.
