I just had a interesting idea and wanted to know if anyone knew for certain if it is one way or the other.

When you finish entering a sweep and it whichs to a confirmation page does it matter if that page finishes loading? I normally close out the page as soon as I see "Thank You for entering" because I believe that the page itself is not sending information but simply verifying that the information was sent inbetween the form page and the confirmation page.

Point being, should you let confirmation pages finish loading? Is the website still gathering any information or is it just loading graphics and website material.... This might be a silly question, but I didn't know how to google such a specific question.

Ive wondered too! I notice that sometimes in the bar it already says Thanks before the page finishes loading, so tho I don't know, I think if it starts loading is good enough...dont know for sure...

Close out and then try to enter again.  See if it says you've already entered.

There are some sweeps I do that with - games with no opt out.  I've found that rather than wait to the end I can just close when the game starts.  When I first did it by accident, the site said I'd already entered when I tried to to enter a 2nd time.  The Super eight road trip adventure is one I close as soon as the game starts. It'll say I've already entered if I try to re-open the site.

I still don't feel like this has been answered so I am going to give it a bump.

I personally think that if the page says "thank you" then the info has already been sent during the moment between pages loading and if the information hadn't gone through then the "thank you" page wouldn't of loaded. Still, if anyone here is a webmaster or acknowledged in web design stuff please let me know if you need to let confirmation pages finish loading for any given reason.

Additionally, I have noticed that some instant win games only seem to enter you into the grand prize after you have clicked on the continue button following the "sorry you lost again". Is this true or does it enter you the second you login in or enter your email before you begin playing....
