Do not want to complain because until recently I would win a sweep now and then.  Wonder if I am on the naughty list?  Winning sweeps are passing me by.  Sigh!

Mary I think most of us feel this way at one time or other. But then along comes a win, even a small one, and we get all perked up once again ready keep going. Here's a wishing you a merry Christmas and some wins soon.

You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late

I feel your pain!  Every "the winner is ..." announcement has made me cringe.  I have won some movie tix on the Holiday Coca-Cola challenge, but I'm also feeling the drought.  It seems this drought happens every Christmas time for me, so let's see what happens once the season passes :).

It's been a year and a half since I have won anything other than a candy bar.  And I'm not even winning them anymore either!  But I keep plugging away, everyday.

you know the game as well as any of us.  the advice you would give us is"hang in there and keep entering"!

best of luck!

I understand, wins are far and few in-between lately!! With the economy so-called doing better, companies don't have the need to give away prizes as much when they were trying to promote themselves to get us to purchase their products. So with that being said...Less sweepstakes...lower value prizes...more people entering= Less Wins!!! "On my end anyway!!! Good Luck to us all!!! I'm not giving up, I'm STILL wishing & hoping!!! lol

My wife gave up, so it's just me plugging away like Don Quixote.  $#@% windmills!

Just when I feel like I am wasting my time, I will win something....nothing huge, but enough to keep me going.  I was blessed to win 2 $50 GC 6 weeks ago, so I just keep on entering.  If you don't enter you can't win, so I too just "plug along".

Keep on keeping on!  Good luck to us all!

I feel the same way.... enter hundreds and hundreds of sweeps both online and snail mail.... NOTHING LATELY AT ALL..... I will never give up as I am a 30 year  sweeper and I am addicted to the high... but my goodness a win would definitly be nice for Christmas.

I have always said from day 1 of ST that sweeping is a numbers game. The sweep prizes can change, there can be few quality sweeps, there can be few prizes at lower value but the one constant is the people who enter the most still win the most.

Every year, we get new $10K Club members and members who will win big for the first time. The number of new $10K Club every year varies little.

We are getting are fair share if not the biggest piece of the pie of winners.

The biggest change over the past 5 or so years has be social mediea sweeps. Mainly Twitter and Facebook. The advertisers started to believe that this was good for their brand marketing. I think this is changing. I don't see great number from social media. I do see a big increase in ad dollars in the coming years. Thereby there will be more prizes with higher ARV.

In short I think things will be better in sweeping in the future.

I didn't win anything all that large this year but I did win something every month accept October.  We were in Vegas for 10 nights on a trip my husband won so not much sweeping going on in October.  Maybe next year will be better for everyone.

It's bad enough I never win anymore. But everytime I see a "Gleam" my head wants to explode!! I truly wish every sweeper out there would refuse to enter them to teach these companies how horrible they are. If we all didn't enter them for a few days, they might get the hint. Someone write a great petition, I'll sign it.

And when I have to attempt the captcha 5-10 times on several sweeps each day, I feel like I'm entering way more sweeps than I really am....but still losing more than ever.

Hi Mary

I haven't been sweeping much at all these past few years.  I hadn't seen a win in so long, and I had so much on the homefront, that I couldn't devote time to this hobby.  I've dabbled a little bit this fall, but nothing more than a free candy bar.  Oh well, here's to 2018.  Happy New Year!

The end of the year came through with wins on two sweeps I don't normally enter.  I entered both on a whim & won $25 worth of Walkers Shortbread Cookies and a Martha Stewart Magnolia Shadow Flannel Bedding Collection.  I've no idea of the ARV of the Bedding Collection.  They're both either edible or useful prizes so they won't be going to the Goodwill where many of my wins go.

Waved goodbye to December (a sad month for wins) and hoping 2018 will be much better.  Happy New Year!

HI, Marli:

This was the year of Local and Social Media wins for me. My husband won a $1600 smoker grill from a local radio station, I won $1500 from a Twitter sweeps. All my other wins were from radio/tv stations etc No big wins from a traditional sweep.

It's a new year, new opportunities!
