Mail-In and Quotation Marks

Are you supposed to put the quotation marks on the envelope of a mail-in entry or leave them off? I have never been sure if I should include them or not.

I don't know if needed but I always do.


I was wondering the same about emails with subjects in subject line that have quotations so I use them to be safe.

I put them on envelopes but not on emails.
