I left husband alone just to scroll (10 seconds only) and he did something I can't figure out. I'm running WIE 8. If I open any window, all I see is about 2 inches of it at the top of the screen. I can max. it but it used to open max. I can usually figure out how to fix things but this has got me stumped! I can right click to max. and also click the top of the screen in the box. It's driving me nuts the way it opens now. Any help at all would keep me sane!!! Thanks!!!

I'm not sure if I have your problem correct in my mind, but if you can't get the screen to open up big (all the way) go to the edge of each side until you see an arrow appear and drag it in the direction you want to go until you have  enlarged the screen in all directions.  That should resize your screen, if that was the problem to start with.  If thats not what's wrong then forgive me for offering stupid advice.  LOL

kipbrendalee, I don't know what size/kind of monitor your using but I know mine has button on the front of it and it has a resize button on the menu, check that and see if that's what he messed with.  LOL  Oh my! Husbands!!!!

Not sure if these will work, but try one of these:

If u can get 2 a corner of the screen, drag instead of just enlarging the screen. When the screen is back to the right size, then just click in one of the bottom corners, at the screen outline. This should "set" the screen.

Or:

Go to control panel. Click on display, then settings. Reset your screen resolution to whatever it is supposed to be. Click "apply" then "OK"

Or:

Do a system restore back to a time before whatever time it was b4 your wonderful husband did whatever he did-an hr B4, day B4 whatever.

OR:

Tell your husband to pay the bill when u take it to be repaired

Good luck-hope its fixed soon!
