I need to win a new car. I just had my towed to the shop and it needs a lot of repair. Tie rods, breaks, rotors, muffler needs repaired but soon replaced, new starter, a gasket in the engine, oh and the other basic stufff like oil change & inspection ect. It has over 140K miles and I think it's be best to get a new one. Oh and did I mention my hubby got laid off due to lack of work in the electrician field? Ugh! When it rains it pours. Sorry for the vent.

OMG April. Do u have any idea how bummed I am that we missed that Nate Show sweep for 5 Chevy Denali's?. Not that that would be my "dream car" but I'd take any car that is NEW.

I'd take just about anything right now as long as it's not a lemon. I've had my eye on the Quadratec 2012 Jeep Hemi. It's the one where they give you $350 to go to Philly to drive it back home. I'm only two hours away from there so the ride wouldn't be bad. Fingers crossed. GL sweeping

Sometimes there are local car sweeps in our local areas that we are not aware of.


I missed 2 last year that I learned about AFTER the fact and one was only a block away from where I lived.


Huge bummer to learn of giveaways after they happen.

Thank you so very much Helen. I'm sure it will be fine soon enough. I try to think of the glass half full. It could always be worse (knock on wood) I found out today it shall cost close to $2500 to get it fixed. but only too $400 today to drive it home instead of sitting at the shop.


Also Tonight at Bunco I won the most win's prize.

  I think most everyone's been down that rough road at some point in their lives... it's definitely not fun.  The car I drive has over 200,000 miles & is 20 years old. I call it my tin can on wheel but if I keep pushing my jalopy to go.... it will soon be "flintstone status" meaning no engine so I might have to use my feet to get it going LOL


  Just keep plugging along so we can see you post a big win.

I started online sweeping in Feb. of 2000. My goal was to win a new car or


the money to buy one.


I have won four trips and a ton of other prizes, but I'm still driving a 1995
