Can't get to "New" sweeps

Everytime I try to look at the "New" sweeps, my computer locks up and I get a message about a "long running script". I have the option of stopping the script but that doesn't help either.

I'm using Internet Explorer 9.

Anyone else having trouble like this?

This sounds like a browser problem.  I haven't used IE9 for a while but do use 10 and 11. You might want to upgrade to 10 and see how you like it.

You might try clearing out your cookies and temporary internet files then log back in.  This solved a lot of problems but in your case it sounds like the browser.

I am having the same issue. There has to be something wrong with the website. I have cleared browser and cookies. I have to keep reloading the site. this has been an issue for over a week now.

I too continue to have this problem. It's been about a week now and really is frustrating. I've done everything you've suggested to no avail. HELP!

Sometimes it is one of the ads causing this, but I will look at the browser issue to see if it is something in the new scripts that were bundled for experience on the site.

Thanks for reporting this. Keep sweeping. I will report back when I know what is going on. I have not experienced this per se, but I think I do remember seeing one of my sessions having a long running script and it was to do with an ad that we have on the site.

Back with you in a bit.

If all of you that have this problem, let me know what operating system you have and browser (version also) that you are using.

We do a lot of testing on issues but I have not been able to recreate it.  My gut is telling me that if you have cleared out your cookies, the problem might be a older browser you are using but still this is a guess on my part.

I have a Windows operating system and am using IE9. Tried upgrading to IE10 but am unable to do so b/c of the Windows version I have that won't support above IE9. I am, however, having a techie friend upgrade my Windows system in the next week or so which may solve this problem. Thanks for trying to help all of us! It's good to know we're being heard and that you're attempting to offer us suggestions and a "fix" if possible.

P.S. I do have both Chrome and Foxfire loaded on my computer, if that makes a difference.

Had trouble for about 10 minutes yesterday.  walked away, returned, and was fine on next attempt.  Maybe many people using system.

I'm using windows 8.1 update and Ie version 11. It works with compatibilaty view setting on, but hangs, and displays the stop script message when turned off. It works okay in firefox.

Same problem here! My computer freezes up, I reboot and it does it again. I had the thought that it was all the ads loading that was causing this. I haven't been entering for a few weeks because I just get frustrated with it all and it's not worth the aggravation it has become. I am using AOL but it also does it with Mozila and Firefox. I have Windows 7 Home Premium.
