Ok, so I'm getting rid of Firefox. It is going SO slow if I open more than 10 tabs. I have Windows XP.

I downloaded Safari, but I'm not sure I can live without autofill programs! :( Help? Is Google Chrome better? I added Texter, but it's not that great and still requires clicking on each textbook. Please help!

I open 20 or more windows at a time with Firefox!  My computer is 2 years old, if that matters.  The only time things go abominably slow is when there are tons of flash sweeps. I usually do those separately or they drive me crazy.

Don't blame Firefox. I run 35 tabs at a time on my Dell Inspiron laptop using Firfox. On my older Dell desktop I can run 20 tabs easily using Firefox. I could run only 5 or 6 tabs on the same computer using Explorer. So you might try clearing out some of the"stuff" from your computer. Go to Tools,Options, Privacy, clear private data and give it a try

do you clean out you temp files and cookies at night when your done sweeping,do you run an adaware cleaner all those things slow down your computer

especially if you don't clear them out,you can have quite a few cookies and temps files from the day before,i found 185 tracking cookies from just one day

of entering sweeps, that's why i like lavasoft adware cleaner..www.lavasoft..com..i usually do a full scan.

Try Avant, the roboform toolbar can be loaded, also has the autofill and multi tab functions. Seems to work for me.
